Is there a way to tighten or align the latch with the striker?

2017 so it's under the 3/36 warranty. Ask the dealership to fix it. If not, then some foam tape.

But you should let them fix it because a rattle will only get louder. It never fixes itself. If yours car was a 2007, then yes, some foam tape.
