Service Manual

I'm the new owner of a '17 Accord Coupe. I am looking for a in depth service manual. I called Helm for a factory service manual, and the lady said Honda no longer provides information to publish a manual. She said the last manual produced was 2012. I called Honda, and they referred me to www.techinfo.honda.com for further information. I see they want a lot of money to subscribe. Is there anything else out there besides Haynes, Chilton etc.?

Re: Service Manual

You can still get Owners Manuals in print, but most of the OEM manufactures our going to on-line only for service manuals. Your best bet is to subscribe for a day, then copy and paste the most important info you think you will need in the future.

If that site does have an actual digital service manual, and you want a physical one, your only choice might be to subscribe for a day. copy the pages to your PC and have it printed at a place like Staples or something. Sad to hear they don't print the Helms manuals anymore, those things were amazing.

Forgive me but I'm not computer savvy. So your saying I would be able to transfer this online manual to a disc or a memory stick if I subscribed for $20 a day from techinfo.honda.com? Would I be able to do this?

I dont see why not. Ive never tried it,so I dont know if there are any protocols in place to prevent this, but techinfo is the only place you'll find this information for public viewing. However there is no online manual,it is simply online information, You'd have to scroll through page after page to copy all of the info,

Pretty much every manufacturer has went this route already. They all have service info websites.

Also you only need a service express subscription($10),not service info.

Re: Service Manual

I contacted Honda again, and they referred me to call Honda Service Express @ 866-733-6235. I contacted them and the guy said you can print the PDF file, but you can not download it. If you go to techinfo.honda.com and click on "user's guide" in the left hand column it gives you a list of what you have access to. Just thought I'd share for anyone looking for this information also.
