Issue using Waze through android auto

I have been using Waze through android auto and when I used the direction feature, the turns would appear on the upper screen. This feature has recently stopped but they still show when I use google Maps. I am sure I just changed a setting but not sure which one. Any thoughts? I have a 2017 accord ex-l.
