Continentals are a very good tire at a decent price.

I put a set of PureContact Ecoplus on the lady's car last year by recommendation of Tire Rack. Couldn't be happier. She drives tons of highway miles for work so the LRR tire was a requirement for her, but the performance and road feel are also very surprisingly excellent. I'd recommend going with the ExtremeContact DWS if you don't have the LRR requirement that she has.

My wife has the ExtremeContact DWS06 on her Sonata and we love them. Great wet traction.

For the price, I like Sumitomo tires. I've never had any issues with them, but I've had lots of issues with many bigger brand tires that have cost 2-3x as much. Check em out.

I just put on some Nankang AS-1 on mine, $82 a pop. I have about 1k on them and so far so good. Waiting for some snow now.
