2017 Accord... Seatbelt

Hi.. my dog chewed through a rear seatbelt... Calling for quotes on replacing the webbing and they said the whole kit has to replace because of the computer and integrity.... So it's like $400 to replace it.... :(

Does anyone have other experience... this seems crazy to me.

LoL, the vehicle is 1 year old and the price of repairs "sounds crazy" to you.

Maybe trade it in for something older/in your budget

(Yes the whole unit has to be replaced. Nobody sells just the webbing.)

Well call me naive then.... I had no idea that a seatbelt could cost that much. And I don't think I'll be trading it in anytime soon.
but a $400 repair for a seatbelt that my dumb dog decided to chew through isn't I the cards right now either. Luckily it's the
rear center seat, so it can just sit on the back burner for a while...

I do appreciate your reply though. Sometimes I feel like repair places try to take advantage of ladies who don't know a lot about
care stuff..... next time my dog gets a muzzle if I'm going to harness him in. lol..

Next time try looking up the part on the dealer website to see the cost. Keep in mind there is a list price and a retail price.

You didn't post which accord you have and there are about 30 different trims which is stupid but put your vin number in the search and go to interior on the left, seat belts on the right. Looks like $200 to $350 or so depending on your trim.
