2014 Accord Belt Tensioner Pulley
 

At around 46,000 miles (3 months ago) I started hearing squeaking noise coming from the area of alternator. It noise isn't there until the engine is warm.
Saw a Youtube article where someone posted about the belt tensioner pulley and it's making the same noise, except not to the extent. When the engine
is hot (driven in highway and for more than 30-min) the noise is every 5 seconds. The person who posted on Youtube said his was covered by
the powertrain warrant (5/50K), however, when I called my Honda dealer, they said it's not. Question is, are belt tensioner pulley covered by 5/50K powertrain?
Or I need to replace them myself.

Called Honda Motors of North America and talked to their customer service department, and after 30-minutes of being on hold, they are covered under the
powertrain warranty of 5-year/60,000 miles.

Good thing you called. I would have thought it wasn't covered and would have opined so.
