Radio issues after dead battery
I have a 2015 Accord EX-L where the battery died and required a jump start (kids left on a light). After the jump the battery is reading healthy according to the dealership so that is fine. The problem is that now the FM radio is all static in the morning but gets better by the end of the day. So my drive to work is now limited to Bluetooth or AM radio but the driver home seems to be fine. This has happened for three days now and the dealer was stumped. They wanted to charge $85 to do some tests but that seems ridiculous to me.
Does anyone have any idea what would cause interference with the FM radio only in the morning?

This doesn't make sense. You may want to try disconnnecting and reconnecting the negative terminal on the battery again to see if that may fix it.

Re: Radio issues after dead battery
So it seems I am the example of why one problem does not necessarily cause another. I changed out my headlights for LED the same day that my battery died. Unrelated events but still happened same day. I guess the LED have some serious interference with the electrical system of a car and I will need to get some resistors to remedy the issue. Going to order some from Amazon and get them installed to see if the issue is fixed. Should be interesting as I guess they get really hot.
