2013 Accord - Intermittent Starting Problem
I have a 2013 Accord and it recently started having issues starting. Everything has power (dash, air, etc) and I hear the click from the starter solenoid, but it doesn't attempt to start. Usually it's fine, sometimes I'll try a few times before it starts, or sometimes it takes a bit longer. It seems to be getting more frequent though and taking more attempts to start, so I'm worried it will completely fail soon. Any suggestions on what to check? The battery terminals are clean and have solid contact. Thanks!

I'd get your battery tested. Assuming it is the OEM one, that's 4 years old, it may be time to replace it. If the battery tests fine, then there may be a loose wire or ground you can start looking for, start simple and escalate troubleshooting as needed until the problem is found and resolved.

Re: 2013 Accord - Intermittent Starting Problem
This is a known problem on the 2013-2015 Accord V6. I found a tech bulletin online. After replacing my 2013 Accord V6 starter twice in 4 months after 4 years ownership, I traded on a 2017 V6, as I couldn't stand the paranoia of wondering when it may decide not to start at all. I was disappointed in Honda not covering under extended warranty, as I c certainly consider starter part of my powertrain.

did you trade in? Did they offer good deal ?
I would be hesitant to buy honda again after this issue. I still have same problem on my 2013 lx 4cyl 55k miles. Dealer can't predict if it's starter or ignition control switch. They suggested me to keep driving until it dies then tow it to dealership.
It really sucks. There should be a recall.

Re: 2013 Accord - Intermittent Starting Problem
The starter problem on the 2013-2015 Accord V6 and Crosstour V6 is covered by Honda Service Bulletin 16-002. It may be a different problem than the 4-cylinder. I was hugely disappointed that the service bulletin came out over 3 years and 3 months after I bought my car - not a good indicator of Honda being on top of a problem.
I had my dealer install a second new starter on a Saturday morning, then drove to another dealer who had two of the 2017 model/color we wanted - always a good indicator they are ready to deal. I needed to deal that day, and leave town the following day. Got a fair trade on my 2013 - equal to the $15000 Edmunds said it was worth in top condition with 44000 miles. The top line of the deal was $4000 off sticker - 32000. So, the deal was OK. If it hadn't been for 39 years of owning Hondas with little trouble, I would have waited and switched to a 2018 Toyota. I figured that by the last, 2017 model year of this design Honda should be on top of the problem. I did not want to wait for a 2018, as I wanted a V6 like I had, and I wanted the comfort and visibility of the 2013. The 2018 has been lowered, reducing visibility in the name of sportiness in appearance. Also, with Honda unable to get a starter right on the 2013, I wasn't about to trust them on a new engine and chassis in the 2018. If I were buying today, I would get a Camry - better visibility, and I can walk to the dealer, instead of driving 6 or 8 miles to Honda.

For the 4 cylinder, I would test the starter. For the V6 there is a TSB where you have to rotate the ring gear on the torque converter, and install a new starter.
