I've got an 96 Accord EX, and the windshield wipers have been acting up a lot. When they're on, they never reach the edge of the windshield, and stop around 80% on their way to the end of their usual path when on int mode. When on the mode where they're at the fastest wipe speed, they go all the way to the edge of the windshield, and sometimes fly off the edge. Everytime they return to park position, they make a sound as if it hit the bottom part.

What could be wrong?

Also, I tried to remove the passenger wiper arm, but it's just impossible to pull out. The driver side comes off with no hassle.

Oh and lastly, when you look at the windshield from the side you can see lots of streaks from where the wipers wiped. Is there any way I can remove those streaks or are they forever embedded into the glass?

Mine also hit the bottom at the hood wtf is up with this? I don't think it has always done it but I could be wrong. I have taken both arms off though so they come off I think I just had to pull some. I took them off to repaint them as the paint was coming off some.
