completely stumped
I have a 95 accord with f22 I took the front of the motor apart to replace the oil pump because of a serious oil leak behind the pump. All went well. I have the factory repair Manuel for a guide and I have many years experience with hondas. Now for the fun part. When I went to start it it runs like it is one tooth off on the distributor. I know that is not possible! So I took apart again and checked TDC and the cam alignment. All are dead on! I have now repeated this process at least 5 times and still it runs like it is one tooth off. I pulled the distributor and rechecked that. Still won't run. I am completely stumped.. HELP!

Re: completely stumped
Did you disconnect the spark plug wires from the distributor side before the car was put back together the first time or after ? Rather, have the spark plug wires ever been disconnected from the distributor at all ?

Re: completely stumped
Thanks for the input! I did not remove wires from cap but rather removed cap and wires from motor and set aside. However that is something I will look into rather than going back over the cam setting umpteenth time. Thanks again!
