if your talking about your front wheels looking like they're pushed back they are it's becuase when you lower your car it changes the caster angle, to fix it you need to shorten your radius rod or get a caster adjustment kit if they make one(not sure on that) when you do the car will handle better and make better tuns in the parking lot

i would seriously consider going to a couple other places, mainly a place that specializes in tires if possible. and when you go, do not tell them what the other garage told you you need, let them generate the list on their own. and don't be afraid to go to the dealer either.

i know man that guy his charging alot for labor even though its just in the same location and about the parts i could only get two for cheaper than the price listed there

the front AND rear beam on the front subframe?! I'm not sure... Each side looks the same to me, why do they only list parts for one side? Have you gotten under the car and looked for yourself? Look up some of the "hit curb" threads and look at the pictures of the damage, basically the same thing you are looking for. A bent LCA should be noticeable. A bent radius rod, not so much.

I would definitely go to more than one shop. Make sure you go to a reputable alignment shop as they should be able to diagnose it.

If it does come back to all those parts, I would seriously look at doing it yourself. You can do it for a lot cheaper. It's not the easiest of repairs but it's not too bad either, time consuming though.

I think I paid 125 for my rear beam, 35 for a LCA and I can't recall the radius rod. I hit a curb hard, hard enough to break a section of my EX rim and I didn't cause any damage to the knuckle which is what I assume they are calling the spindle.

Check out car-part.com to find the parts at junkyard in your area. A jack, stands, good set of metric sockets, both regular and deep. Probably a few special tools but nothing horrible IIRC.

no, that labor doesn't look bad. It's a good amount of time to replace that rear beam, the steering rack goes through it so that all has to be disconnected and removed. The engine will need to be supported as you remove the front and rear beams since the front and rear motor mounts are on those beams.

You can get those parts cheaper, trust me. Go to a junkyard, make sure you buy from one that has a return policy. The LCA I bought ended up being bent and I didn't install it until after ~60 days from buying it and they returned it no questions.

Also, I couldn't find a radius rod in junkyards so I just bought one from Majestic Honda (HondaAutomotiveParts.com) as well as a sway bar and their prices weren't bad even after shipping.

ok ill look around, how many radius rod are needed for the front right side? in majestic honda they show different ones

one radius rod per side. Majestic shows different ones because the passenger side radius rod is different depending on if you have an auto or manual.

Unless the suspension has some anti-dive geometry (and I'm pretty certain that Accords don't) then lowering the suspension won't cause any change in caster angle, camber is a different story.

The front wheels do look a long way back in the arches, I don't know why this would be but it isn't necessarily a problem in itself if the supension geometry is still within spec. You really need to have the alignment checked to find out what the caster angles on each side are, if the car is damaged in a manner that causes the lower ball joints to be farther back in relation to the upper ball joints then caster will be less than it should be, which isn't a good thing for straight line stability, steering feel / weight (too light!), steering response, or steered camber changes (i.e. caster causes the outside front wheel to gain neg camber as it's steered and the IF to gain pos camber, both good things for grip in tighter corners as it helps to counteract the undesirable camber changes due to body roll, but the less caster there is the less this affect will be).

On my CB7 the front wheels look opposite to yours, i.e. they are forward in the arches, but this is as a result of deliberately doubling the caster angles by shortening the radius rods.

i found a 96 accord ex 4cyl front crossmember , will it still fit and work for my 95 accord 4dr lx 4cyl.?

uh, I'd have to look it up again but I'm pretty sure #8 is for the manual trannies and # 9 is for the automatic trannies.

Basically, the radius rods on auto trannies are different on each side, but the radius rods on manual trannies are the same on both sides.

I believe that does look like the right (passenger) side LCA but just double check before purchasing. I assume you are asking for reference when looking in junkyards?
