Default Whats going on!

My 2001 accord vtec has been running great. Now it runs like crap. It has the following codes in the computer, P0301, P0302, P0303, P0300 AND P1399. What would cause all these misfire codes? The car hardly ever gets driven and is not something that occurred while driving. I start it up every couple of days and one day I started it and it has ran terrible ever since.

No, It runs bad from the time it is first started. It ran good before so I have not changed out any parts on it. I guess I should give it a tune up and see if that fixes it. I have a 99 accord parts car with a 2.3 non v-tech engine. If I end up having to change out the distributor is a non v-tech and a v-tech the same?

If the cap and rotor are bad you can check to see if the inside is dirty, or if the inside has any red dust which could indicate the bearing is going bad. If so, you could just swap out the distributor. It might be cheaper that way. Those codes are normally ignition related.

P1399 is the pending code for most of the P030X codes.....it is listed in the Honda service manual.

The non-vtec (A5) dist should have three bolts where the vtec (A1, A4) has only two.

Start simple, a tune up is regular maintenance so if you are not sure when it was last done....start there. IF you have a compression tester handy, checking that wihile doing the tune up isn't going to take much more time and won't hurt anything to have that information JUST in case the tune up doesn't cure the issue.
