Violent shaking

97 accord ex sedan
ok when ever im above 50 i say breaking becomes the scariest moment of the day
it vibrates through the steering wheel and brake pedal but its extremely harsh
also when i WOT at a stop my steering wheel turns completely left
i am a do-it-yourselfer i work with cars at my job so have a basic understanding while at work i had my wheels off and checked the front rotors which seemed smooth and flat didnt check the back though i hear a rattle whenever going over bumps and a loud clunk when turning im having a baby soon and am afraid to put a child in this car some body told me the rattle is a broken shock lol i dunno and all help will be appreciated thanks young techies

Re: Violent shaking

you need new rotors, the rotor has lost it thickness and therefore produces a shakey moment when braking. I have seen this issue on cars i worked on, and this is the issue with yours. Oh and might as well replace ur brake pads with the new rotors.good luck!
