Do you mean an F22B DOHC engine? Is it a SOHC F22B1 VTEC or F22B2 Non VTEC? Or is it a custom built engine (built B20)?

Not sure that I have ever seen a B22B before.

the B22B is just a bored/stroked B20, which I doubt is what the op just swapped into their 93 Accord.

op,
I'm guessing you just made a typo, but just to be sure double check the engine code of the motor you just swapped in. The engine code stamp can be found where the transmission and block mate at the front of the motor.

Pretty sure touring is right. If the OP had enough knowledge to do that sort of Frankenstein he should be able to find an ECU. Probably meant f22Bx which is a fairly common swap.

I don't think they use an F series head.... and when you Google it there is like one or two threads that even call it a B22B....

I find it annoying when a bored or stroked engine gets labeled like that. Oh wait, I should start calling mine an F24A build. Not only does it look cool and original, it's JDM as F#@k!...lol
