transmission swap

I have a 1999 v4 v-tec honda accord ex and I was wondering if I could swap the transmission out with a v6 transmission for the same car and year?

Do you have a 4 cylinder? If so, you cannot mate a V6 transmission to the 4 cylinder engine.
