transmission

I have a 91 Accord Se and was wondering when the car is doing 70 mph give or take what the rpm's should be. Its an automatic and I have a feeling that the car isnt shifting into overdrive because the rpm's is around 2900 thanks for any help.

It looks in the specs to me. Remember, compared to the Legend, the Accord has a shorter gearing due to the fact it is an I4 and makes a little less power and torque.

The tachometer isn't the most accurate thing either. Some are off by 600RPMs or more. The speedometer could also be off by a bit.
