Swirling/Whirling noise when braking around 20 mph
So Ive had my 98 Honda Accord for about 2 months. Currently the car has 115k miles on it. Probably 2 weeks after I got it I started hearing this Swirling/Whirling noise when I would hit the brakes @ 20 mph. It is never above 20 I always hear it when im at 20. There is no grinding noises from what I can tell. I figured it would just go away with time. I had my mechanic look at it yesterday and he couldnt find anything wrong with the suspension or brakes. He said the Transmission fluid was a quart short for some reason and he said he looked all over for leaks but couldnt find any. He said that maybe I should go see a Transmission specialist. I dont feel anything wrong with my transmission though. It goes into gear just fine and seems to shift all gears perfectly normal. Im not sure if I should just keep driving it until something else arises? Just wondering if anybody else out there has expeirenced this or knows a solution to the problem.
