To rule out the moonroof switch at the dash:
1. Disconnect the gray harness connector from the moonroof switch.
2. With a spare piece of wire, touch one end to terminal no. 6 (Gry/Yel wire terminal) and the other end of the spare piece of wire to terminal no. 2 (Blk wire terminal) with the ignition to ON. (Only do this briefly) Does the moonroof open?
Gry/Yel is a wire with gray color insulation and a yellow stripe.
