ok heres the scoop. my factory exhaust rusted to two pieces a few inches after the resonator. i had a 2.5 inch pipe put in with a canister muffler w/ removable silencer. i started the car and its just too loud w/o the silencer. although its quieter w/ the silencer, it sounds very "airy" and stupid. its not "bbbbrrrrrmm brrrmmmm" its more like "hhhhhffffffff hhffffff" hard to explain but the exhaust air leaks around the perimiter of the silencer. i want to take off the silencer and quiet it down with a resonator. is the stock one with 85k any good? or will i need something more? i tried search but theyre all regarding aftermarket resonators for civics and integras. please help

if you have a 2.5 pipe, i doubt the stock one would fit??? stock is like 1.xx something, if i remember right... i would rather get 2 new resonators with a pipe that big... if you look at some greddy evo users i think they have 2 resonators with it ( not sure though )...

lol ohhh yeaaah. i totally forgot about the diameter. if i go two seperates, how long should each be?and if i choose a single resonator?

Just get a big new one. On my exhaust there is one big one and it helps.
