Re: starter clicks.
We don't have brushes. We have contacts. The next best thing to replacing the contacts is just to take em off and sand em real good til they're shiny again.
Watch that vid and sand up your starter contacts and you might be good to go again.

Re: starter clicks.
Starter on AT cars is Mitsuba, they do not share the same problems as the Denso starters found on MT cars.
Verify the battery is fully charged and holding a charge.
Verify the battery cables are clean, tight and undamaged.
Verify the ground connections and engine bonding jumper are clean, tight and undamaged.
Verify there is battery voltage at the large starter cable terminal.
Verify the solenoid power from the ignition switch(small wire) is getting battery voltage when key is turned to III(start) position.
Verify the solenoid works but jumping a wire from the small terminal of the starter directly to the (+)positive battery post, or large cable at battery.
#7 is the solenoid on the AT Mitsuba starter, I can't recall if that can be disassembled like the MT Denso starter.

Re: starter clicks.
I stand corrected. I somehow missed the part about you having an auto, hence the Mitsuba. I was operating under the assumption you had a manual. Larry had told me before that mistuba starters don't have contacts that can be replaced. I actually havent taken apart a Mistuba starter, even my old auto Toyota camry had a denso starter. You can call him and ask him what your options are for a mitsuba starter.

Re: starter clicks.
update:
thank you both, i checked everything as Mike stated and i dismantled the starter myself and turns out the brushes were very worn changed them and my starter worked like a charm,
* the carbon brushes are the equivalent for contacts in the Mitsuba auto starter for what i can see from Holmesmanny's video and indication,
#6 in the starter diagram provided by MadMike
so thank you, hope this post helps someone in the future.
