SRS light on 2000 Accord, Code 93 (Driver seat buckle)
Any idea how much does it cost to fix this?
Could it possibly be under any recall on the SRS airbag?

Your problem may be caused by a faulty sensor in the passenger seat which does have a recall on it (for 6th gens). There's no way for me to know if this is the case in your situation. Your best bet is to take it to a dealer, explain your symptoms, and ask if the problem is under recall.

Yep. Seatbelts have a lifetime warranty. Does anyone know of any company other than Honda that does this?

Seat belts are lifetime. Not the srs system. If your srs control unit or an airbag goes bad you can call Honda for goodwill consideration, but it is not under "warranty".

OK so first off my SRS light came on a while back. Took it in to Honda they wanted 150.00 just to read the code to see if it was something that might be covered but "the SRS unit could have gone bad and that is 800.00 to replace and not under warentee" I hate dealers. To make a long story short I figured out how to read and reset the codes. It pointed to seat belt. Back to dealer same thing different service manager. I sprayed the clasp of the belt with WD40. Reset it and it went away for 6 months. Recently the Check Engine light came on. I tried reading the code (jumping the brown and black wires on the longer connector) the code read 93... the references I found on the web go up to 92 - also it was the SRS light that blinked not the the check engine. Now after the read the SRS light and check engine is staying on AUGH!!! What do I need to do now? Thanks in advance for any suggestions. This car only has 100k on it! (2000 Accord ex)
