Default SRS flattening the battery

After an Auto/manual G/box change on a CG8 1.8 IS... my SRS light stayed on...battery flat in a few days...battery check & OK...reset SRS light...alls good for 6 months...SRS light has come back on...battery flat.

Low voltage in the electrical system will cause the SRS system to trip a code of low voltage.
Don't think it is an SRS causing a dead battery, it is a dying battery/low voltage/no charge issue causing the SRS lamp to illuminate.
Verify the battery, battery tray, terminals and cables should all be clean, tight, and the battery can hold a full charge.
