Seatbelt . . . beep-beep-beep
Okay, just got my H22 90 Accord back on the road but no matter what I do the "automatic hang the driver super motorized" seatbelt thing won't stop beeping at me.
I wanna be mAdd tIte JdM and not wear my seatbelt. Sorry, j/k. I have both belts hooked up, both belts buckled, everything.
It WILL NOT stop beeping at me. It doesn't beep until I shut my driver door, the belt motors up and stops and then BAM.
It's like beep-beep . . . beep-beep . . . beep-beep. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
P.S. I know I can yank the plugs out of the box under the seat but then the motors wouldn't work and as annoying as they are they do serve a purpose. AND I know I can open the box and yank the speaker but I would actually like to fix the problem, not just ignore it.

if everything is working but it just beeps, you can take apart the seatbelt control module under the passenger's seat and yank the chime out of it. or just go to the junk yard and find another one.

im having the same problem but its worse than that it wont let me know that my door is open or that beep that it does when you key is in the ingntion ..... when im driving the seatbelt opens and wont close till i open the door and close it again ... i got tired of this so i pulled out the drives side fuse and now it just stays on the same stop (good for me) but it still beep ..... im thinking it could be my door thats just fu@ked up and im going to change it ... maybe that will work .... cause the light on the door wont go on 2 when you open it. the door has dents so im changing it ...
any one has a 2dr drivers side door for sale?

I went ahead and got the belts in the far back position and then unplugged the module. Just a bit harder to get in the car now.
As far as the fuses, could everyhthing work and they still be bad? I am gonna check all the fuses and stuff but if I find a fix I'll let you guys know.

Ahh, I checked mine and I think the wires are in but I'm gonna give everything a good push.

If there is a sensor that lets it know when the belt is all the way back, and it is messed up that could be the problem.

another thing i wanted to add is that the wires may be cut due to the back and forth seat movements so make sure there is no cut wires

Yes, there are a number of switches in the system. Any one of them could be a problem. The controller input test in the Helms manual is the only way I know to diagnose those f-ing systems.

It depends on the problem:
If the operation is affected, yes.
If it's cosmetic, no.
