10mm 6 point socket - upper ball joint nut cover, ABS wire bracket bolts, Brake line bracket bolts
14mm Socket - Brake line to caliper bolt (optional)
Torque wrench - same size drive as sockets
36mm socket - Axel nut
48Oz Hammer - Separate ball joints
pliers - To remove cotter pins
Parts:

It comes already pressed together ready to go.

I don't think you're suppose to use CL bearings. You're suppose to go with Accord 90-97 bearings and use the CL hubs to press it on the Accord bearings. The Accord bearings are designed to be able to bolt onto the Accord front knuckles. I don't know if CL knuckles are the same as Accords.

The CL rotor will have the holes for the screws. If you use the accord rotors, which will work, they will just hangs on there until you mount caliper back on. The accord bearings and cl bearings will both press into the cl hub, which you will obvsiouly be using, or ur not doing a conversion.
I know u can use either the '98 or '99 cl 2.3 rotor. Keep in mind, you will be using the 2.3 parts not the V6 parts CL.

We already said he could. Instead of flatly saying we're wrong, when ur not sure, you shouldn't even comment on it. Furthermore, bearings don't bolt onto knuckles, they press into hubs which bolt onto knuckes.

I've done mines many time and what I do is use the four bolts on the back of the accord knuckle to pull the bearing/rotor back together instead of pressing them in which will save me time/money! And I know they're pressed into the front knuckles but I don't use the press to press mine in, I use the bolts to pull them together once I'm ready to get them in back in.
OP, just get them from TASAuto all assembled together to save you the hassle.

Re: rotor over hub question
Dude, reason I said go with Accord bearings is because its been done many time and this is the first time I actually see people saying that CL ones will work. This is for the OP to consider.

Re: rotor over hub question
If you're asking for a cheaper option rockauto has a Dorman assembly for $60 each, so basically $130 or so shipped for both.

Re: rotor over hub question
Actually now that I'm looking at the picture of that assembly up close, it's for the Accord, I'm not sure why they got that Accord hub in the CL section. I would say call rockauto and ask them if you really get the CL hub or you're getting the Accord hub because that picture is for the Accord hub and the oem cross reference is for the Accord hub as well. The CL hub part number is 44600-SY8-A00

Re: rotor over hub question
My junkyard just got a low mileage (67k) '99 Acura CL 2.3 and the stock bearings spin great. I bought the entire spindle/knuckle assembly since it was only $20 more and was wondering if i can just drop the entire knuckle into the '96 accord.

Re: rotor over hub question
Yup! That is the easy way to do it, and exactly what I did on my first Accord before going to 5-lug down the road.

Man its really hard to believe I wrote this 15 years ago! I'm surprised that this is still a thing, but i'm really glad people still find this helpful, even if parts are becoming hard to find.
