Default Radiator fan broke so...........

So I pop my hood today to look around. I look down at my radiator fans and I notice one of my fans are broke. Like the blade came off the motor. So I remove the little thing that holds the fan on and see this.........

So I make my way over to a pick and pull and low and behold, every 94-97 accord I see has the fan that I need missing. So I go over the a 93 accord and take a look at the fans for that year and the fans look exactly the same and everything except for the little piece to mount it onto the radiator. So I just swap my old fans housing with the new one and bam I assume everything is good to go..............I mean the fan that broke never really came on anyway, and my other fan usually came on when the AC was cut on.

So I was wondering if it was ok for me to use a fan from a 93 accord for my 94 accord? And when on earth does that fan ever come on lol.

Default Re: Radiator fan broke so...........

AC on, BOTH fans run (assuming ac is wroking)........Car on, ac off, temp starts to rise, BOTH fans run. That is when it comes on.....sounds like you need to put 12v directly to the motor to see if it is good. if so a little more info will be needed to decide what is wrong.

Car off after a long drive or a hot day.....only one will run.
