1999 USDM H22 into 5th gen ('97) Accord
I'm in the middle of an H22 swap for a friend: He wrecked the Prelude and decided to put its engine into an Accord. Every bit of information and FAQ I've read has no info on wiring for this later model engine swap since most people use earlier or JDM engines.
The engine mount differences between earlier and later H22s were mitigated with earlier OE style mounts, however, the only wiring that I have is the stock Prelude engine harness, stock F22 5th gen Accord engine harness, and the chassis wiring out of the Accord.
I've spent over a dozen hours searching forums and search engines trying to find accurate information, and all I've come across so far is
a. A guide I'd need to pay for
b. random conflicting tidbits about theft immobilizers?
c. other random conflicting information on forums.
Any help, suggested search terms to use, or links, would be greatly appreciated. I do have PDF's of all relevant FSMs already.
Thanks for your time.
*Contrary to post count. I am not forums noob- long time H-T lurker, longtime ClubSi participant, and about a dozen other Skyline GT-R and S-chassis/SR20 forums. Also have worked in the field for a few years.

Re: (TheMuffinMan)
It's an EX with the F22B2.
The code on the Accord's ECU's label reads 37820-P0J-L10
Prelude ECU's code P5M-L04

You'll be using the Prelude's ECU, Accords don't have an immobilizer, the prelude's ecu is the concern

Ah gotca, if it's a 96 + Accord it'll be OBDII.
You'll need to worry about adding the knock sensor and one other (can't recall) but those should be listed in the FAQ's
I'm guessing you want to keep it OBDII so like I said you'll need to look into a USDM OBDII P13, but from what I've heard they're pricey.
