Default Pressed on rotors...

I changed the pads and rotors on a customers 1991 Accord. These are brand new Raybesto's pads and rotors. Pretty decent stuff. Everything torqued to spec and I took the car on a test drive. Damn thing shutters when braking. You know like a warped rotor would. What do you all think?? New rotors are bad maybe?? I measured them in 3 diffrent places but they are ok.

if you measured them in three different spots then you used a micormeter, Use a dial indicator on the rotor and you will be able to tell how out of round the rotor is.

did you use caliper grease where the pad slides on the caliper and on the slides themselfs? also did you use any caliper grease or anti squeal on the back of the pads?

make sure it is not coming from the rears............drive the car and stop by using only the emergency brake ,,if you feel a shake ,,the rear drums--rotors need repairing .........I have seen new rotors that come out of the box warped so it could be you got a bad set of rotors .......make sure your installation was all ok
