Yes, probably need to drill and tap the two holes for the mount. But why? Older transmission, more than likely higher miles and no gearing advantage.

its a transmission that I've had for quite a while and my P2U5 lost reverse.I hear it could be a simple linkage issue but im not 100% and when I last ran the H2A5 there was no problems..are you familiar with one that just looses reverse and nothing else..Ive driven it like this for some time with no interference with 1-5

MAD_MIKE would have more insight on the transmission internals, but I believe 5th and Reverse are paired.

I'm more of an automatic transmission geek, but a transmission geek none-the-less.

H/F-Series Transmission Codes & Ratios - Honda Prelude Forum

P2U5- 3.307 -- 1.809 -- 1.185 -- .933 -- .658 -- 3.00 -- 4.062
H2A5- 3.307 -- 1.809 -- 1.185 -- .870 -- .685 -- 3.00 -- 4.062 DX/LX
H2A5- 3.307 -- 1.809 -- 1.230 -- .903 -- .705 -- 3.00 -- 4.062 EX

Pretty close gear ratios.

90-97 Accord transmissions are pretty much the same externally. Just transfer any brackets over to the 'new' transmission.

If 5th and Reverse share the same shift linkage, it may be that a pin or bolt has backed out. Might be lucky and see a problem on the external shift mechanism.
