P0401 Issues

P0401 Issues
Hi, I'm new here. I was hoping someone could help me out. I got the P0401 code (EGR Insufficient Flow). I cleaned out all the ports (because that's usually the problem), and the code came back a day later. So I went ahead and replaced the valve, and it still came back a day later. I don't know what else to do. Any ideas? Thanks in advanced.

Re: P0401 Issues
Which model year and which engine do you have?
F23 98-02 it's usually just the main port between the upper plenum and runners that becomes clogged.
F22 96-97 the EGR manifold is fairly easy to remove and clean out, along with the ports in the runners.
J30 98-02 the main feed port between upper and lower is usually clogged and may need to be better addressed by removing the upper plenum. Gaskets are reusable.
