Nut size??

Anyone know what size the rear hub nut is? My Helm's manual says it's a 22mm x 1.5mm but there is no way a 22mm is gonna fit that nut.

Here's a pic of the nut with me holding a 22mm socket up to it.

36 is the front. It should be a 32mm, I just went into my garage and put an 1.25" socket on it and it fit fine.

What vehicle did this knuckle/spindle come from?

Yeah, I'm guilty of not looking too closely at his pictures, and having a drink right now. It's raining where I am and I'm a little bored at home. :)

 all is good, It's snowing here, and I'm just sitting here next to the fire with my laptop and a Guinness passing time too. I probably have a slight advantage where my garage is attached to my house and it just so happens to contain a fully stripped Accord. I can pretty much measure anything in a matter of minutes

When the manual lists the size of a bolt or nut, it's the stud diameter, not the head/socket size.

My 32mm is too small, 1 1/4" is too small also. It's the rear drum set up from my '91 wagon. I did the rear disc converion about a month ago.
I suspect that the bearings in the disc set up are bad and I wanna use the bearings from the drum setup.

OK so given the information that the drum in question is from a wagon. I would say you have the 24mm diameter spindle, and I would assume that would probably need a 34mm socket.

Did you find out for sure if it's a 34mm? I know I just tried a 36 on my 93 lx w/drums and it's too big :(

Now I need to get a socket to fit it. Can't wait till I get all this #@#$ back together.
