To have a full kit installed and tuned by a shop you are looking at anywhere from $3000 - $10k. All depends on your goals, your budget and how many of the parts you can find used. Shop labour and quality will vary from shop to shop!
Check the forced induction forum there are a few boosted 2.2L Accords around that you can learn from. if I remember correctly there is one or two lower budget builds. A lot of the work is done by the members themselves though. The more you can learn and do yourself the cheaper it will be. May or may not be as reliable though...... all depends on your abilities.

focusing specifically on F22B1 builds. the F23Ax is most similar to this and most kits available on the market work for both.

Yeah yeah...I should have just kept it at boosted accords and left the displacement out of it........lol
Be it the 2.2L or 2.3L, VTEC or Non, they would be pretty much the same turbo kit for 94 to 02.

I'd suggest either selling the car and getting a non ULEV car, or locating a non ULEV drivetrain to boost.

I'm presently in the middle on a turbo build on the same motor. As others said, it all pretty much depends on how reliable you want it. Ebay sells parts, however you get what you pay for. My Dad once said when you wanna buy something, buy it once. I have spared no expense in my build and I'm currently around $6400. I have yet to buy a clutch/flywheel and haven't yet paid for the machine work, as my block's currently at the machine shop. I'm doing a complete build from scratch. Our engines can take boost, however they do have weak points. Most people say you shouldn't boost a stock motor, especially the F23 because of its ringlands being a weak point. I also bought things that most people wouldn't, i.e. new crank pulley, main bolts, new front brake lines, master cylinder and proportioning valve (I deleted ABS), gauges, belts, cam gear, etc. Someone once said whatever you THINK you wanna spend, double it. And from first hand experience, that is true. I'll probably be into it for about 8K or 9K when all is said and done. But I can probably guarantee my parts will hold for years to come. Check out my build below and Good luck!
