Major tune-up & body question

96 accord ex, v6. recently had major tune-up spark plugs, belts, water pump, timing belt, ect... did not like how the shop took care of this but i cant go back to them, they dont know what they are doing. what kinda of customer service do you get from them... bad service.
anyways. major tune-up done to car. drive it for acouple of months, i do not see an approvement on the gas mileage. is there something i can do to check or adjust? we first baught car used at 84k mile in 2002. it now has 160k+ miles. first baught it had great gas mileage. on full tank it was 310+ ish lower or over around that number. that is good for a v6 2.7 liter. after the work performed its only getting under 300. i understand the car is getting old but getting work done, shouldnt the gas mileage be near if not better then what i use to have? (i think i blab on too much) help please..

next question.

on driver side door. there is a molding panel or something that is on the door to keep other car doors from hitting the actual car door. how do you take the molding pcs off and put it back on? do the clips have to come off and be on the molding before i can out it back on or ?

let me know:wiggle:
Thank you

Re: Major tune-up & body question

on your note about ppl not replying, maybe people looked at it that couldnt help you because they dont know about your particular car. Anyways, I dont know about your moulding BUT did the garage do 02 sensors? these being old or bad dont always set a check engine light and can effect mileage. 10 miles off a whole tank isnt much and could be due to engine wear or just due to crappy fuel or your driving habits, and I wouldnt be too worried. You may need to do 02 sensors if they didnt, and some of it could be engine wear, if you really wanna know, do a compression test and see if its getting low. If it is, thats your dropping mileage right there. If not, the problem is outside the engine (driving habits, fuel, sensors on the way out) but I would just try tossing some injector cleaner in it and checking the air filter and seeing how that goes
