Light bulb in clock
So the light in my clock has gone out. I called Honda and they said that the bulb can't be replaced and I would have to buy a whole new clock assembly. Is this true or can I just get a new bulb.
Thanks again,
Matthew

you can change the light bulb and you don't even have to order it from Honda (although that does make it a little easier). they are called "neowedge" bulbs. i believe the correct size is a T3. they are even available after market as LEDs for the same price as the Honda replacement.

Easy to change, we (and probably most Honda dealers) carry these, you're looking at about $2 for the bulb. Just pop out the clock, the bulb is on the side and is sold with the socket (use a phillips screwdriver to remove and replace). The guy behind the counter sounds like he was probably new...

Ever since Ford quoted 1000 Dollars for a new rear entertainment system because the screen was dead, i can never trust what dealers say.
