Left Blinker Problems - '93 Accord LX
'93 Accord LX - When turning on the left blinkers, the front yellow hazard/side marker blinker works, but blinks fast. The main front blinker in the bumper doesn't work and the back blinker doesn't work. In the dash, the left arrow signal blinks fast and the clicking noise is fast. Right side blinkers are all normal.
Blulbs aren't the problem because I replaced all the bulbs with new ones.
One cause may be the back left blinker socket where the bulb inserts into is very rusted and corroded. Could this be causing a break in the circuit or not grounding properly or shorting? It looks like I would have to cut the wires to replace the socket and I didn't want to do that yet until I know better if that is the problem.
Any ideas?
Additional info: when turning on the hazard lights, the front left yellow marker/hazard light works but the back left (same as blinker) doesn't.
