Hello, I just wanted to let anyone with a no heat problem on a1996 accord what i found. i back flushed my heater core and found it to run through fine. Still no heat. made sure the heat control valve in the engine compartment was wide open. the cables on these things usally freeze up over time, still no heat. So figured the the blend door was not open so I popped the dash section around the controls and saw the cable wasn,t sliding in the housing. Traced the cable down under the glove box(take off the box door) moved the cable manually and walla WE GOT HEEEEEAT. Hope this helps someone. Younsure check all the cables and blend door before messing with heater core.

That's an annoying problem. Had that happen on my '91 EX-R. Awesome 2 second fix by spraying some PB Blaster on it and wiggling it back and forth.
