When you turn the ignition to II do you hear the fuel pump prime?
If not, it could be your main ground (G101) that is connected to the driver side end of the upper intake manifold. Could be loose or dirty!

Re: issues with swap.. help please?
hey im pretty new member, and dont mean to be rude but my problem is a bit relevant. Im having problems getting my car started, just recently i had my car, a 1994 honda civic dx l.5l 5spd, broken into and my ecu was stolen. When i tried to start it all i could hear was the starter. I waited and finally got another P06 ecu in the mail, when it arrived i just plugged it in my car waited ten minutes, and it started just fine. Now this is where the problem kicks in, after my car was running fine i decided to turn it off and remove the ecu just to see if i could take it with me in the house to prevent it from being stolen, once i plugged it back in 20 min later, i would turn the ignition from position 1-2 and i could hear the fuel pump working, but when i moved it from position 2-3 i heard nothing, the starter wasn't responding at all. Can you please help me with this, i was wondering if i could have possibly ruined the starter or the ignition system by pulling out the ecu and how can i get it functional again.

Check to make sure all of the pins in the back of the ECU connectors are still tight. Sometimes when you get pulling and moving the harness around they can come loose and loose connection with the ECU.
If they are all tight you need to check the voltage at the starter when you are trying to start the car.

Re: issues with swap.. help please?
After tearing my hair out for hours and chasing down every wire and connection in the engine compartment I decided that my problem had to be at the fuel pickup. Got in the trunk peel back the floor cover and what do you know... Walmart vehicle had been sitting for sale prior to my purchasing it someone had stolen the license plates broke the trunk open clawed their way into the fuel tank and safe and all of the fuel out of it. Got her buttoned backup and she's running like a top. Still love these forums even though I didn't need it this time. Always a great help
