Intake opinion
Has anyone out there ever tried the new AEM V2 intake. Is it worth paying the extra bucks for the so called "Added Power". If not, what other brand of intake would you guys recommend

Re: Intake opinion (frostwhite97LX)
Ebay intakes will lead to less than half a wheel horsepower difference for a quarter of the price of a V2
Just throw a K&N filter on it. Piping is piping.

xerodowntime is right get it off ebay, or some kind of forum like this one if u can find one. Retail is around 320 and ebays got em for 270 or less.. I got mine off ebay and am very happy with it. sounds better than most and adds a little eye candy.

make sure you get a name brand intake. where i live if we dotn have a carb approved sticker on the performance part then we get a ticket and have to replace the part. im pretty sure the ebay intakes arent carb approved.

I wouldnt bother still....I got an Iceman intake for 60 shipped, I recently put on a new AEM Dryflow filter, and i'm very happy. The Iceman never gets hot, I can lick the damned thing if I wanted to.
Ebay intake+K&N or AEM dryflow is just fine.
