a more direct approach would be the 1/4" method

step 1- equip an electric drill with a 1/4" drill bit (or similar)
step 2- when the ABS light is on, point the drill at the light. aim is critical.
step 3- pull the trigger while steadily moving closer to the light.
step 4- continue progressing toward the light, with the trigger held until the light goes out. again, aim is critical.

this is a complex system or at least the method of troubleshooting is complex. to fix it properly yourself, buy the service manual. if that seems too expensive and frustrating just try paying a shop to do it...
