Re: Honda Accord Euro R Service Manual ?
I have the wiring schematics from the shop manual but can you post a pic of what the ECU plugs or ECU plug looks like? The manual has 4 different configurations but doesn't list what engine is for each

In Russian but you get the general idea..... haven't found one in any other language yet.
Basically identical pinouts to a 6th Gen Accord..... with one difference being it doesn't have an immobiliser. IACV valve can be earthed shut, but will require the tuning of an ECU to get rid of the CEL it will throw for the IACV being missing.

Re: Honda Accord Euro R Service Manual ?
We have verified that our wiring is correct. We are using a Locash obd2a to obd2b jumper harness. The IACV is wired as a 3 wire for use with the PCD ECU. The car starts up and idles without a CEL. When you give it gas, the car stumbles, belches, farts, and pukes. If we put the stock 97 EX ECU (with out the jumper harness) back in place, the engine revs just fine, but throws the CEL for the IACV of course. We Have Also substituted a P2T ECU from a 99 Civic SI (with the jumper harness) and the engine revs just fine, but throws CEL for the IACV and the crank fluctuation sensor as expected.
My question is, has anyone had run issues with the stock PCD ECU and what did you do to maintain use of the stock ECU?

Re: Honda Accord Euro R Service Manual ?
I figured out most of the run issue. The CKP sensor (blue and white wires) harness side at the distributor have the inncorrect polarity. I reversed the wires and now the car runs fine until VTEC, at which it bogs bad. However this is against the wiring diagram above. Also, static timing is only 11 degrees, and that is all I am able to get out of moving the distributor. I verified my cam/cranshaft timing and it is correct. I could cut the distributor, but I feel that is a horrible solution to get the timing I am looking for.

Re: Honda Accord Euro R Service Manual ?
I am honestly suprised that so few people have seemed to have done this swap.
Maybe my question isn't relevant since the original pinout question was already answered.
If anyone has any insight to my issue, Please guide me in the right direction. My conclusion at this point is that I have a faulty ECU. It will run the car, but I have to wire the CKP sensor backwards, but driveability is only "ok" (not desireable) below VTEC. After VTEC the engine bogs badly. I have already tried 2 more distributors with the same result. I confirmed the wiring is correct with the pinouts above. I am using a Locash harness intended for the usual Civic/Integra OBD2a to OBD2b conversion. I haven't been able to confirm wire for wire, but the pinouts for OBD2b seem to be typical with all OBD2b cars.

Re: Honda Accord Euro R Service Manual ?
I've done this swap, but using a converted ecu and a tune. Its nice though to have the stock ecu running a stock motor for a customer that wants a full blown daily driver with zero issues. The last swap I did I was able to figure out and the car ran amazing!

Sure... OBD1 conversion is a piece of cake! I've done that plenty of times without issue, so making this thing stock should have been a "no brainer".

not to off-subject this, but I remember the factory computer feeing super strong, great timing maps i'd guess.. but the redline was quite low iirc, maybe 7400??
