HONDA 90 GEAR SHIFTER WON'T MOVE INTO PARK
Good day,
My auto gear shifter **** had issues but I have changed the **** then came another issue, the shifter wont move into Park. What do I do?

1) Does the button on the shifter push down the release rod? If it doesn't push down far enough you will not be able to go into park because it physically hasn't gone past the metal stop.
2) Have you lifted the center console to see if the linkage has something going on with the mechanism? The cable goes is practically a straight shot from the shifter, through the center tunnel then bolts to the transmission.
If there is nothing obstructing your physical lever and the cable moves freely your issue is going to be internal to your transmission. Either way, pop off your center console, put the **** back on and see if the anything is blocking it and/or the button is pushing down the rod far enough.
