Honda 2002 Accord Lx
Hi,
I am having some problems and need some advise. I had the car tested with a code reader and it came back PO172 system to rich, PO420 cat failure, an dPO170 fuel trim malfunction. How expensive is this to fix and is it easy to fix?

All of these codes could be caused by just one actual problem, a bad cat or a bad O2 sensor, this one is going to be tough without a seriously qualified tech looking into this for you but lets see what kind of help comes in here first, I need to do some real research before I chime in any further.

Do you think I should replace the O2 sensor first to see if that would fix the problem? Thanks for the advise.

Please do not run two threads at the same time. Lock this one out please. Why spend over $100 for an O2 sensor and guess when you can pay $50 for a better diagnosis at the dealer or anywhere.
