Hello promising 1998 Accord in search of engine rebuild/replace tips please
Hey new member hope im posting in correct place. Right to it. I recently acquired a 1998 Accord EX-L 2.3 VTEC had some superficial limb damage a few years back so the original deep purple paint job has been completely redone by a very good shop. The car has approximately 204,000 miles. The transmission was rebuilt with 30k warranty less than 1k ago and aside from a swirl or two on the interior tint its in excellent shape. BTW acquired from one owner, grandparents. I put wheels from a 2002 Special Edition on it that are immaculate just like the exterior body/paint. I have nothing but tax title registration fees in it so far. I tell you all this because the engine is on its way out but literally the only thing wrong since the suspension was redone 20k ago. Now performance and fun wise never messed with hondas any suggestions? build ideas? swaps? spray? forced induction? any or all and all input appreciated.

Don't take this the wrong way and it is just MY OPINION - why ruin a perfectly good car
IF there is major engine damage that requires it to be rebuilt or replaced. You can get low mileage F23's pretty cheap - do a little bit of maintenance to it before putting it in the car and you are good to go.
Again, just my opinion and don't mean anything bad by it.
