Hard Time Starting In Cold
I have a 98 accord V6 with 175K and its having a hard time starting in cold weather. In warm and hot weather its fine, in cold it struggles to start but once it does it runs fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Hard Time Starting In Cold (Kan)
It could be a bunch of things from injectors, ecu, ignition, fuel, etc.....
How long does it need to be cranked before it starts?
Does black smoke come out the pipe when it starts?
Does it idle properly when you start it cold?
How long do you have to let it sit after it has run before the problem re-occurs?

Re: Hard Time Starting In Cold (Kan)
your battery might be out of cold cranking amps likemine was and therefore the car is hard to start if starts at all. If it started fin in warm weather and not in cold, replace the battery.

Re: Hard Time Starting In Cold (Kan)
try putting a thinner oil in the motor next time u change the oil. I'm assuming you're using a 20-50 if it has a lot of miles. run a 10-40 maybe
