Default Happy 4th of July! / Remote locks

Last September I bought a 1999 Accord EX. Everything works in it. The only slight flaw was one passenger door's remote lock wouldn't always raise all the way up when pressing the Unlock key on the remote. Sometimes pressing again or a few times would raise it correctly. I thought the solenoid was just weak. Come to find out (with a tip from my son) it was simply a weak battery in the remote. When checking the manual for the replacement battery (CR2025) it did in fact specify the locks not raising completely is a sign of a weak battery. With the new battery it's fine. Was fortunate to find a 4-pack at a discount hardware store for only $3.69.

Only mentioning this in case others may think like I do sometimes and assume things are more complicated they actually are. I thought it was a mechanical situation with the lock itself. I'm quite impressed with the quality of this 20 year old car.
