Going to put nitrous....
Alright so the hell with this and that. I am going to put the 55 shot ZEX in my accord. Now i did a search and did come up with any info on nitrous. So is there anyone out there that can give me a quick low down on nitrous. Such as warnings, tips...anything. Ah and i do remember that picture one time on here where that one guy forgot to do something with the pressure and it blew the hell out of his car and garage....yeah that shyed me away from nitrous for awhile. but anyways, thanks guys

55 shot just
1. retard your timing a bit
2. fuel system MUST be in good shape
and it will work better if your intake and exhast systems are upgraded.
p.s. don't use it every five min.

i have the same nitrous kit, the zex 55 dry kit. my car detonated really bad and i melted three spark plugs and blew out a ring or something in one cylinder, but dont let this scar you out of getting nitrous. what i would if you r geting the dry system is get a new fuel pump, i have a walbro 255, and a fuel pressure regulater and an exhaust gas temp gauge, that way u can tune it so u dont lean out. U can take it to a dyno and they could tell u if your running lean with the nitrous. Also dont get platinum spark plugs, get like ngks but make sure that they are a step colder than the stock ones. if you get the zex wet kit you wont have as much to worry about, but i would still get a new fuel pump and take it to a dyno.

get cooler plug so it will not overheat and start another flame front
timing is not adjustable i think
vafc, fpr sound like a good combo to me
wet kit>dry kit
don't get discouraged, the motor only 300buck

I second the going to a dyno to tune motion. It'll save you a lot of headaches, and while you're there, you can tune whatever other goodies you have to tune with.....and you'll actually be able to see the true a/f ratio during nitrous, etc

Re: (92Lx)
Nitrous is all tuning bro. People are afraid of laughing gas because they try to spray a 55 shot with intake and exhaust all day and have no upgrades . I suggest fuel upgrades(fuel pump, regulator, filter, and perhaps injectors when spraying more than 50) when going for any type(wet or dry) of nitrous to be ultimately safe....especially when spraying on an older motor(100,000 and up)... Always remember colder plugs... good luck!!

It's true. aznxphreak on Honduh is on his second motor.
Problems that happened with his first motor:
- cracked pistons
- blown head gasket
REBUILD - JE pistons w/ total seal rings
- pistons not properly seated
- blown head gasket
- melted pistons
REBUILD #2 - JE pistons, reinforced Godzilla sleeves
- shitty rebuild - clanging metal parts after 2-3 months
- no compression in #1 cylinder
- large chunks of rod in oil pan
His second motor has been running since March 2002. By the way, he's running a turbo, and n2o on his F23. Heh.
