Yes, the OEM fuel pump can take the H22. There's charts to prove it; I'll get that later. If you're not going turbo, I would stick with a 190lph Walbro pump. Thats what I have. The OEM one is probably as much as a Walbro unit, so minus well grab a Walbro.

walbro 255s are like a 100 buckz yo the stock 1s fine but if yours is going out, well time 4 a walbro! maybe cheaper than getten prelude h22 pump.

Just get the Walbro 255lph. It's not like you'll be running richer with it. Your ecu's fuel maps and fuel pressure regulator will be controlling how much fuel your getting. The benefit is that the Walbro will hold fuel pressure much better at WOT and it gives you room for future mods that might require more fuel. It's only $99 from lightningmotorsports and free shipping.

Xenocron has 255lph pumps that I have seen perform just as well as the Walbro for half the price.

http://www.xenocron.com/xenocron-255...ump-p-148.html Check it out and do some research. I can tell you that I haven't had to deal with any issues with this pump.

I forgot about the xenocron one. I believe that was 60 bucks as well. You should cancel your order and get the one from xenocron. When it comes to tuning, they know their stuff.

since we on a fuel pump discussion. I bought a walbro 255 for 100 bucks. I havent been able to install it because of the terrible weather in new england. I finaly got the chance to work on the car, and as soon as i took the fuel pump cover off i noticed that the nutts where completly rusted on!!! damn new england. So ive been sprayin it with wd, liquid wrench and pb blaster nothin seems to loosen them up. Should i cut off the nutts drill and tap da holes? im not even sure how much gas it has.... and by the way does anyone know what the voltage at the pump is supposed to be? thankx guys MHOB(my honda over bisshes ) lol

What fuel pump cover are you talking about? If you have a 4th gen or 5th gen accord, you have to drop your gas tank to get at the fuel pump cover. It sounds like you went into you rearseat/trunk area panel and are looking at the fuel level unit.

Yup, you gotta drop the gas tank or you won't be able to remove your fuel pump. I'm running a Walbro 190lph pump on my setup. Exactly what accord_raffi said, the cover located in the trunk just below the rear speakers is for the sending unit only. It ain't like them Civics & Tegs.

please don't forget that it is the fuel pressure regulator that will ultimately control everything going on. so you can get the best fuel pump in the world but if you are using the stock fpr, it wont matter. I would use the stock H22 FPR and use a plug and play stock equivalent fuel pump. Id recommend Denso. They are factory equivalent in quality for less than the factory price. Denso use to affiliate with Toyota so you know you are getting the best part. hope you diagnose the electrical first before deciding it is the pump ( eg ground, power, relay, fuse, etc.)
