2003 v6 coupe hard to start...please help!!!
I got my accord on feb 27, about a week or two later, I go to start it and I have to hold the key for more than 5 seconds sometimes to start it. There isn't a pattern, but it has happened close to 10 times. Anyone know what it could be?
Thanx

If your starter is constantly working to start the engine during the entire 10 seconds, then it could probably be that your spark plugs may not be firing or that the process to go about that is not working properly... check them.

Re: 2003 v6 coupe hard to start...please help!!! (Stripped Honda)
it could possibly be the check valve in the fuel pump. when you go to start the car next. turn the key to "on" and you should hear the fump pump cut on and build pressure. it will last for a few seconds. once the fuel pump cuts off, then turn the key to "start" and see what happens. if it starts fine when doing this everytime, then it's probably the check valve.
if the occurance is totally random it could be an exhaust leak somewhere, cause you to not have enough back pressure.
