Re: F22B2 ITB setup
It is like Christmas again
Glad to see the project moving again - don't take that the wrong way as I have my own...the Chevelle is still sitting there looking at me every day

Christmas indeed. The parts keep coming in, I still have a few more pieces and parts to buy, then I ship the engine off to the machine shop.
Things are looking up. Now if only I could physically get into the garage to work on the car! My "working" garage has become a storage shed! Time for a big cleanup.

Re: F22B2 ITB setup
Finally....... the rest of my exhaust showed up from KTeller today! :p
Blog Update!
3" stainless pipe, Magnaflow resonator and all the hangers. It is a really nice kit they put together. Well worth the wait!
Now, I have a week off before I go back to work. Wonder if I can squeeze some Accord love in there somewhere.......

thanks for the bump! Nice to see you're still around, how are things?
Build is on hold due to lack of room in my garage......lol Hope to get back at it again this winter after a garage purge.

Re: F22B2 ITB setup
I can't believe that it has been 8 years since I pulled this car into my garage. The Accord is still sitting under a car cover in the garage. Right now it is buried in winter clothes, empty boxes and patio furniture cushions. Surrounded by a lawn tractor, 2 spare engines, a transmission and another "work in progress" Motorcycle....... :shakeshead:
Today I received 4 boxes via courier that kind of made me think about cleaning out the garage and getting back to work on ol'Ghost.
and in those boxes were these!
Plan is to get all of the body and suspension work done before I send the engine out for work. That way I know that all of my attention will be on the car before the engine!
I have 8 weeks before I go back to work. Hopefully that is enough time to get some stuff done. it's going to take me an entire weekend just to get the garage cleaned out......

Makes me think I need to get the Chevelle cleared off and out of the garage and take it for a spin . I know it has not moved in at least a year

All good things come to those who wait. Patience is a virtue!
Unfortunately just found out that my daily requires $2k in parts to pass inspection this year. So as far as the Accord goes, patience I must have!
If it was an unreliable car I would just ditch it. However, this is the first big money maintenance it has required in the 11 years we have owned it. The usual, brakes, suspension and exhaust! Needless to say for $2k I am upgrading it all! Corvette front brakes, Camaro rear, H&R drop springs and adjustable struts. Shorty headers and a full 2.5" mandrel exhaust with Flowmaster muffler.
Oh well....them's the breaks!

Re: F22B2 ITB setup
Things are going good here, hope the same for you as well.
I am going to try for forward progress this winter. Unfortunately, I am going to be putting most of my time and spare cash into getting the Grand Am painted over the winter in the hopes of putting it up for sale in the spring. then I can put that money toward finishing off the Accord.
In other news, I finally got back into a Honda today! My, new to me, Winter Beater & the project Grand Am....

Re: F22B2 ITB setup
It is a Xenon body kit. 4pc kit #10280 for the 96-97 4dr Accord. I didn't take any pics of the side skirts. They are poly as well. Not so sure if I like that on the sides or not, we'll have to wait and see.

Yes sir, Love the yearly drop in's.
Cheers to you and yours during this holiday season and hope for a safe and happy new year!
Been spending most of my time getting set up to do a 5spd swap and boost my Grand Am. As well, I just finished street tuning my Ridgeline after having a set of stage 2 Bisi cams installed. Man I love this truck even more now.

3 spoke Steering Wheel
Picked up a Non SRS 3 spoke for $80 and installed it today. No need to spend $400 on a Momo. I'll probably pick up a charcoal wheelskin cover with red thread.

I am currently in the hunt for a cable reel/Clock spring that fits the CD w/no SRS or Cruise.

Will the Ghost Accord ever be finished?
I'm still working on my project Del Sol; almost as long as you. I really appreciate all your published info on your site & many others....
