engine shake at 2000-2500
shake badly.... Shake like you press on the brake and step on the gas... but back and forth faster.. Took to two shop and wasted 400 so far they can't fix it...
happened when we changed the timing belt. Now they say it's the torque converter? I don't think so because if it's the torque it should be doing it at other RPM's, not just 2-2500 rpms...

2 possible...
Balancer shaft is off sync with the engine. So adjust that.
OR
It could be the tensioner was tighten too much that it cannot adjust... Make sure that all the bolts and nuts during the timing belt change was properly torque with a torque wrench.

We had 2 shop tht specialize in honda cars, redid the timing belts...
I hoping they should know how to get the balancer right...
left gear line up to marker and top marker... right gear locks when you stick in a stick in the services hole.
