smoke coming from engine and also blowing through ac vents after flying over train tracks
ok guys this started yesterday, i see smoke coming through my ac vents and when i pop the hood i see it protruding from the firewall down below the intake mani. also around the same time i noticed a lot of oil spots where i parked i'm thinking that there is oil leaking from somewhere onto the exhaust pipe and therefore causing smoke to come from the engine bay.....am i right or any idea what has happened

check your heater hoses, one runs from the transaxle side of the block just under the distributor and goes to the firewall and back out

Check the oil pressure sending unit above the oil filter, and the base of the oil filter as well

ok tomorrow i'm due a timing belt job and i'm also replacing water pump, cam seal, front crank seal, valve cover gasket, balance shaft belt and seal due to the fact that i have an older leak coming fom the timing belt compartment. i should add that the smoke and extra oil leak came after i went too fast over a hidden train track and my car did a mini jump. i have'nt had a chance to look underneath there yet but i'm hoping its something as simple as the oil pan gasket.

i just changed the above mentioned or better yet i had them changed and luckily that solved my oil leak and engine smoke problem but suddenly i'm no longer able to accelerate the way i used to right before the change. its not abnormally slow but i dont get the same throttle response as i'm used to. also my intake is definately sucking alot more than before to the point that its almost annoying. is all this normal if he just replaced those belts and seals. could the timing be off?
